Which Career philosophy do you agree with the most? How is your career philosophy similar to your ideal job?

My philosophy of a career path is one that you enjoy your job and helping others. I suppose making another person feel better and help them overcome their issues gives me a good feeling. Knowing that i made the slightest difference in their life. Also knowing that you have the potential to help others. It shouldn't matter about the money, but i wouldn't work for free either.

My philosophy for "work" is pretty similar to my "ideal" jobs, it would either be something in physiology, law, or human services. They all include working with others and helping them over come their issues. I just want to make a difference, a positive difference i suppose.

This was found tagged on a wall in China, after the Chinese police murdered hundreds of Buddhist monks. Is this art or crime? Explain in your blog.

Depends on your definition of freedom of speech. To me it's just that, others might say it's vandalism. But if the message has something important to say then it really isn't because they're expressing their thoughts to the public eye. Getting people to think about the words written in that wall isn't their ultimate goal. Most people aren't challenged with philosophical questions. They have as much as a right as the news papers to express their message. It's sort of a hard reality, that some people won't to be exposed to.

Whats the point of the documentary?

The purpose for this documentary is to inform people about the other side of the soda companies people don't see. It's showing beyond the superficial commercials that they spent millions on or their advertisements that you see everywhere. It's showing the true side of the multi million air business. The sinister side i suppose. Showing facts but also having this comic relief to it. The main goal is not to be bias, but show nothing but facts to back up our comments. This documentary is being made to open people's eyes to this ignorance we live upon.

What are the pros and cons of television? What are the ways it's good for society and the people and what is the way it's bad for society and the people?

Television definitely has it's pros and cons. But over all you have to admit television has done more bad than good. Yeah it does play the latest shows and gives out the news that most teens don't watch because it's mostly depressing. Yes it informs us about the world and the tragic things that take place, it's mostly a bad reminder of how messed up this world is.

else but just that. Other than keeping us entertained, we loose Television does just that, inform. We can easily inform people with newspapers. The reason that televisions were invented were for entertainment values only. No exercise, we gain weight. Develop short attention spans and have our minds corrupted from t.v networks like M.T.V. I can give you a million reasons why t.v is a horrid. But you'll still watch it. Because it's became a drug for society, and mostly everyone is addicted.

Crystal Darkness

Some of the weakness of the video was that there wasn't any kids our age speaking about their encounters with Meth, they mostly adults talking about what happened to them. They also didn't have many facts there were mostly testimonies of people. But they were very convincing and they got me thinking. I was also surprised by what i learned and how Meth has become very popular among the young people. So i think that those were some of their strengths, it was getting there message out there. They also didn't get off topic either.

What types of stereotypes do people have about Muslims? What goes through your mind when you see this picture:

Since the incident of September 11th, many people began to stereo-type Muslims. By saying their all of bunch of terrorists , but the truth of the matter is that they're not all terrorists. When i look at this picture, i see a family they might not look like the common families i see here everyday. And you can't help but grow this compassion towards them, because they have to over come all these obstacles and set backs and also the discrimination they have to deal with. When you can see that they actually are like us in many ways. Maybe if everyone tried to look beyond the stereo types people cast on them, maybe that'll be the day when we'll be able to move away from racism and hatred conflicted against minorities and also whites. We need to acknowledge that the are human beings like you and I.

What are the pros and cons of studying history? How can history be used to help understand what's going on? How can it be used to spread hate?

Some of the pros of studying history is that you know the past and can learn from the mistakes of others before you. You also understand your history a little better, making you appreciate it more. Your more advanced in subjects and it helps you understand present issues better because you know what caused them. A con of learning history is misunderstanding it.
History as an important part of our life, we live our lives around it feeding off of information we discovered in an earlier time than ours. It helps open doors by helping us understand the reason for something, like why it occurred. Helping us more forward instead of backwards. Sometimes people tend to use history and it's happenings to persuade people of hating a certain race or religion. By pining the blame on them. Thus creating more hate and spreading it by using events of the past and being biased towards the one race[s]. History has it's pros and cons, but it definitely has more pros.
