Why don't many people vote?

The biggest reason why people don't vote is because they believe that they can't make a difference in this country. They're convinced that their voice won't get heard and it's a waste to try to be listened to. Plus the electoral votes angry people, because it makes them feel as if the votes the casted don't mean much. That's one of the major reasons why people don't even bother. But the thing that they don't understand is that at the end of the day you know you at least tried to be heard. And if millions of Americans keep that thought implanted in their head, no one will ever be heard.

When i turn 18 of course I'm going to vote . I was born with the privilege to make at least a little difference. I want to be involved in the choices this country makes as a whole. Because most of the major decisions that will be made by electing a president will effect me in some way. I should take advantage of every opportunity that i get, because not everyone in this world gets to participate in things like elections. Even if the president of my choice doesn't win i know i still made at least some difference.
